Hi, I’m Van! Growing up in Vietnam with three sisters, I quickly learned the art of sharing clothes, experimenting with fashion, and doing each other’s hair and makeup—it was part of our everyday life. My love for creativity blossomed early. By 15, I was making my own clothes in my coastal hometown and dreaming of a future in design.

My journey truly began when I got my first camera in Vietnam. That little camera sparked a passion for capturing moments, but it wasn’t until I moved to the U.S. 13 years ago that everything fell into place. I upgraded my gear and discovered photography was my true calling—a perfect blend of my love for fashion and my growing obsession with storytelling through images.

After moving to New Jersey, I studied at the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York City, deepening my skills and artistic vision. I also earned my cosmetology license in 2018 and began working professionally in hair and makeup. These experiences shaped my creative perspective and brought fresh energy to my work behind the lens. My love for photography runs so deep that I’ve even invested in a home studio, complete with professional lighting and props, to create the perfect environment for capturing memories.

Photography has become my ultimate form of self-expression. It’s more than just a career—it’s my passion and purpose. What I love most is connecting with people, making them feel confident, and capturing their most authentic selves. Whether it’s guiding families through poses or cracking jokes to bring out natural smiles, I’m all about creating a fun, relaxed environment.

When I’m not behind the camera, you’ll find me exploring new destinations, soaking up art, enjoying live performances, or laughing at comedy shows. For me, photography is about finding beauty in everyday moments, telling meaningful stories, and creating memories that last a lifetime.
